We stayed at the Chestnuts for a few days and we loved it. Breakfast, cooked to order, was absolutely delicious and varied. The owner, Toni, was very helpful at all times. We booked two trips to the Spa through him and he provided us with a spa kit with fluffy towels and slippers. There were lots of information leaflets and maps available, and even DVDs to watch in the room. It is only a short walk to the centre of Bath, through a beautiful park and lovely Georgian houses and across the river on picturesque Pultney bridge. Only thing, it is not far from a busy road and some of the rooms (including ours) were a bit noisy with the windows open.

Thanks to comments on Tripadvisor we decided to stay 2 nights at Chestnut House in Bath. We were certainly glad that we did. What a gem, we had Room 1 at the front of the house which had a spacious bedroom and bathroom ( with a bathtub much to my wifes delight) Our host Toni was always friendly and helpful and a great cook to boot. Breakfast each morning was a treat.
The house is an easy and pleasant 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Should I be in Bath again this is where we would stay, in a clean and homely environment.

I avoid hotels and this B&B is the reason why.

It's exceptionally clean,comfortable and most of all welcoming.
It's easy to get to.
Off street parking is an added bonus.
The variety offered at breakfast is excellent and sets you up for a gentle walk into town.
I can't believe it was the first one I looked at on the internet thinking 'they'll all be pretty similar'. That I now very much doubt.
In my opinion if you are visiting Bath you don't need to look any further than this excellent accomodation.

Wonderful B&B. Toni is the nicest man ever and was even willing to accomodate extra wishes. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the bathroom perfect with a rain shower and of course the breakfast was very good. Thank you again
