We wanted to stay in a no frills style Travel Inn, easily accessible to Hampton Court Palace, public transport into London and no cost to park our car. This Premier Travel Inn fulfilled all our criteria. The hotel itself is about 3 minutes walk away from Chessington World of Adventures, and a good 15 minute walk to the nearest railway station, Chessington South giving easy access into London Waterloo Station. Don't take your car to the railway station car park, as there are about 3 spaces, you can walk or take the bus if you want to. The M25 was easily accessible but the usual nightmare.
The rooms themselves are typical Premier Travel Inn style rooms, small in comparison with other ones we have stopped in, but basically typical for London, cramming in more people. The rooms were clean, with basic tea/coffee supplies. The staff very friendly. The walls are paper thin and we could hear a conversation the man in the next room was having on his phone but other than that no problems.
The Beefeater next door is good. Food excellent, If you don't want to eat there, the bar area is very relaxing. The Irish sounding waiter who served us was very friendly.
On the whole good value for money.
