This Travel Inn is the best accomodation I have stayed in whilst in Guildford. Previously I stayed at the guildford hotel - pretty awful and the YMCA - dreadful.(suprisingly I paid the same for the YMCA that I paid for Travel Inn.(£55)
OK - Room was clean and spacious.Decor is simple and basic but one doesnt expect luxury from this sort of hotel. The bed was actually v comfortable. The house keeping was excellent and the women cleaning the rooms were extremely friendly.
Breakfast was varied - best as always to get down quite early. Hot breakfast could have been a bit hotter but overall not bad.
Minor criticism is, at the risk of sounding old at the age of 29, the hotel does attract a younger crowd at weekends, we were woken up at about 2am. It didnt get too bad and I didnt feel the need to complain the following morning, however i would expect hotel staff to deal with this sort of behaviour a bit more swiftly as it does affect other guests who are trying to sleep.
