We booked a family room at this hotel for 1 week over Easter.
The double bed was too soft for my husband and me, so we give that to our 2 daughters and we took the put me up and the sofa bed and we all slept quite well for the whole week.
Although the trains ran directly at the back of our window, the noise was not bad as the double glazing did its job.
Rooms got cleaned every day.
The only problem we had was the guests in the room above us let their children use the beds for jumping on and off but a quick word with reception and this stopped.
The hotel does have a Bar Cafe and if only staying for 1 or 2 nights its not too bad but satying any longer and the menu gets a little limited.
We only paid £26 per night and it made a good base to explore Chessington, Thorpe park and London.
We walked along the river bank to the railway station which was lovely and peaceful, and about 15min walk.
Train time to London was 30mins to Waterloo, cost £32 for 2 adults and 2 children but for £42 you could buy tickets that included all travel in London (tube, bus and docklands light rail).
