Arrived at 11:15pm (reception closes at 10:00pm) but the staff were very helpful and friendly. I got into my room with no problems.
Breakfast was excellent, all organic with a large selection of cooked and buffet.
Really helpful with any request for local knowledge i.e heading out for a jog, giving directions along the river bank, evening meals etc.
Room was bright, modern and comfortable, although no wardrobe, just a hanging rail (no real hassle)
Would visit again.

Checked in on recommendation of a fellow colleague and wedding guest. Not much choice in Guildford - Holiday Inn etc but Asperion was a breath of fresh air. From warm and welcoming NZ lady on check-in to quality beds and bathrooms and healthy and hearty breakfasts this was one more reason to visit Guildford again. May sound a cliche but we will definitely return due to the high quality, reasonable price and good location not forgetting the unpretentious, extremely helpful team who could teach the bigger players a thing or two.

Don't let the entrance to this hotel fool you - it looks a little like a typical British bed and breakfast from the outside - it offers the best service, quality and value for money that I have come across in a long time in the UK.

The staff are fantastic being really helpful and welcoming without being at all intrusive. They made a point about asking if we had enjoyed the wedding we attended and about our children - small things, I know!

The rooms are stylish, modern and immaculate with top quality beds and linen, lcd tvs, water and fresh milk in the fridge, and are quite spacious.

As previously mentioned, the bathrooms are just fine - small but with powerful showers. Again, they are spotlessly clean.

The breakfasts are also top notch being freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients.

At the end of the day, I wondered whether to rate this hotel as 4* or 5! Okay, so it isn't a top hotel in Paris or beach resort in Dubai but if you are looking for comfortable, stylish accommodation for £90 per night in Guildford - don't think about staying anywhere else (to think that some of our fellow wedding guests spent nearly as much for a 'budget' chain hotel without breakfast...).In this context, it fully deserves an excellent rating.

My second visit. My first visit on business encouraged me to return with my wife for a short break. Hotel is very modern and clean, and within easy walking distance of Guildord town centre. Hotel is run by lovely people who make you feel very much at home. Excellent breakfast included in price.

My stay at the Asperion was fantastic! Manny and his staff were supremely helpful and attentive; the entire hotel was spotless; very good location up the hill from the town center. The Millmeade Room was very comfortable, stylishly decorated, however there was not space to unpack belongings for a longer stay (I was in Europe for 12 days). The breakfast selection was superb in variety and quality. Manny has attended to every detail and the Asperion is a wonderful lodging - highly recommended!
