Just back from a weekend at this hotel. Although the entrance is rather impressive this is where it ends. Location is alright, it is on the quayside but at a part where no one goes. It is about a 10 minute walk from the station up a massive hill or 100 steps so handy to commute. The room was spacious but a bit dated. The carpet on the floor had worn completely through and you could feel the springs in the bed. The air conditioning also did not work properly so the room was always too warm. There was a lovely view overlooking the river though. The hotel was booked due to the spa facilities however the only thing open/working was the pool. The jacuzzi and sauna were shut and the steam room provided about as much steam as a kettle. Did not eat here so cannot comment on that. All in all not worth the money so stay somewhere else.
