I think we got the last room available here as we gave them 10 minutes notice. The only room they had was small but still accommodated a double bed. It was clean and comfortable. The bar was friendly and the staff very helpful and honest, my partner left his trainers and they rang us immediately. The breakfast room was bright and sunny and the food delicious. Very reasonably priced. Thanks to everyone there for making our brief visit a good one.

Room tip: They dont do evening meals on Saturdays but the Indian restaurant on the corner has amazing food!!! You take your own alcohol there. Our meal for two was £26 and it was superb!

We stayed the night at this establishment. Very helpful staff, nice room, good bathroom and great breakfast in the morning. Only problem was to access the car park at the rear of the Hotel you have to drive through a very narrow long archway and I (my fault not hotels) scraped my brand new car!!!!!!!!!

Greeted with a very warm, friendly welcome. The four of us had a very adequate size room and a cot provided. The room and whole place was very clean although the room could do with a facelift as very dated.
Breakfast was excellent.

Repeat trip. Tidy, clean room. Well placed inn. Good range of real ales. Friendly staff. Fresh cooked breakfast, no lukewarm buffet here! Cannot fault it at the price. The car park is a bit of a tight squeeze.

Room tip: My rooms have always been in the converted stables at the rear. I think these are reputed to be better than ones inside.

We stayed at the Hotel for four nights (30th may-tues3rd june) from the moment we arrived I was surprised by the welcome we had, smiles all around. I cannot understand the last review at all. The breakfast was brill, the lady who served it nothing was to much trouble for her. Sean recommend one or two places to eat, (in fact he took us to and from a Italian restaurant well done Sean) All in all fantastic stay. Well done Sean and the team.

Room tip: Room 3 front room some noise from passing traffic
