My boyfriend & I (big kids) went for a day out to visit Cadburys. The first stage of the tour was very educational, slightly long winded as you had to do it at the speed of the slowest person but it was still interesting.
The manufacturing area was interesting too, although the amount to be seen by the public was very limited, this part of the tour felt a little 'hap-hazzard' as we were left to our own devices. However there was a great selection of free samples available and the area where they make extraordinary chocolate creations such as the Olympic stadium was fab.
The ride was fun too! & the gift shop was wonderful. They recommend that it'll take 3 hours to do the tour but we did it at a speed we were comfortable with and managed to do everything we wanted to do in an hour and a half, however this didn't include a visit to 'Essence' the tasting area because it was overflowing with school trips!
Overall it's definitely worth a visit but more of one for the kids.
