We arrived for our one night stay at the Norfolk to find that there was no car parking spaces and had to leave our car next door. When we went to reception it does give the impression of a clean fascility but that soon changed When we went to our room. When stepping out of the 'new' lift (worth more than the hotel) we were greeted by wires hanging from the ceeling and wallpaper hanging off the walls in the hall. As we entered our room, we had a little count down to see what surprises were to behold us. Non-Smoking, it absolutly stunk. The bed was situated next to the door, if you got upto quick could knock yourself out on the door handle, the walls were filthy with stains, the raidator was hanging off the wall, the carpet well your better off wiping your feet on the way out. We complained and got sent next door to the same smell and cleanliness. On threatening to leave we shown another room by managemnt. Due to being restricted to time we settled for it and quickly vacated for the evening. When waking to the fire alarms at 8am i took a shower to a dirty razor on the side and a filthy bathroom with a toilet that had flooded in the night. We promptly left and will never return to this HELL Hole.
Avoid at all costs, 3 star, pffftttt, wouldnt leave my dog here!!
