We visited as part of Ladies Festival for the weekend of 9th - 11th October. I was with friends, a couple. I had a single room and they had a family room.
Rooms were spacious and fairly clean, although there was a large cobweb over my bed which wasn't removed over the weekend. Facilities good - usual tea, coffee, hairdryer, towels, soap and shower gel. TV with freeview. As with other reviews, I did find the walls and floor rather thin - could hear all talking and walking near and above my room (my room was on the ground floor).
Food was excellent. Service was ver y good except for one objectionable gentleman - a rather red -faced man whose manner left a lot to be desired. How he became management material none of my party could figure out!
We used the swimming pool, sauna, and jaguzzi - all excellent... and the lifeguard on duty was cute! An added bonus!

We stayed at The Chichester Park last weekend as part of a Ladies Festival weekend.
I would like to thank all the staff from the housekeeping to managment for thier friendly and helpful manner, nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms where clean and well appointed. The food was excellent good portions and very tasty and the waiting service was fantastic.The Bar and Reception areas had pleasant lounging space and their staff where helpful and cheerful. The pool and fitness suite was very good and provided a relaxing atmosphere. We had good weather so was also able to take advantage of the hotels outside space a lovely quiet garden to sit and relax and also a patio area adjoining the bar which we found very nice. I could not fault this hotel. I would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Stayed Thursday to Sunday. Was pleased that although check in was from 2 o'clock when we arrived at 12 o'clock our room was ready. Throughout our stay we found everything to be satisfactory/good the staff being pleasant & helpful, the room was clean & reasonably spacious, we ate in each night & found the menu & quality to be well worth the cost. We were a little anxious as to what the hotel would be like as we had read the reviews before bookin. We can only say some people are extremely "picky". Every hotel can be criticised for something or other but a balanced view should be taken.

In summary all we can say is "we'll be back"

My daughter was married here on 6th sep 2009. The staff could not have been more helpful from the very first enquirey to after the wedding. The organisation was 1st class. the wedding breakfast food was excellent. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. The rooms were perfectly adequate although i gather not all the beds were that great. The breakfast was also very nice. so a big thank you to all concerned for making thia a great day.
