What can I say that hasn't already been said - this B&B is fantastic! After being let down by another B&B near Chichester with only a week and a half to go until our stay, I was so pleased to find Rooks Hill on Tripadvisor. Lin was so friendly and helpful from the moment I first contacted her - she even booked us a table for dinner at the lovely pub (The Earl of March) which is directly opposite.
The building itself is gorgeous, and has been beautifully furnished - it really does feel like a home from home. On arrival, Lin made us a pot of tea, which we had in the guest lounge. The fire was lovely and warming on a cold January day, and we felt right at home straight away. We stayed in the Slindon room, which is even nicer than the pictures suggest. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and little touches such as Green & Black's chocolates and White Company toiletries show lovely attention to detail.
The real highlight of the stay had to be breakfast - without a doubt the BEST breakfast we have ever had anywhere that we've stayed. Poached eggs were beautifully done, and the local 'famous' sausages were gorgeous.
If you're not sure where to stay near Chichester - choose Rooks Hill! We can't wait to go back.
