This is a handy place for an afternoon walk around the gardens. Parking is £3.70 and admission to the gardens is free although if you want to visit Holme Farm it will set you back another £3.30 each. The farm used to be free with voluntary contributions but I suppose that's inflation for you!. The building itself is very nice but again you need to pay £3.70 so once is enough. This place is not far from the centre of Leeds so it's handy for a day in the country without having to put too many miles on the clock. There are ample play areas for children, dogs are welcome and there are plenty of seating areas and some nice places to get a cup of tea and a bite to eat.
