We hadn't visited Leeds before. We only stayed for one night but thought the position of this hotel was very good for the Armouries Museum, canals, restautants etc.
Couldn't fault the hotel on value. Breakfast was of good quality.

This is certainly a pleasant, newish Express in the heart of Leeds. Sat Nav helps to find it as the surrounding streets are subject to building development.

No complaints about reception or the rooms. However, this was a Bank Holiday Weekend and the hotel seemed full to capacity and there was a good deal of door banging and noise in the corridors in the early hours. Good quality light breakfast in open plan dining area, though the crush at 9 am on a Sunday morning was unexpected--everyone for themselves it seems in Leeds!

Would stay again if city centre was really required.

We stayed at this hotel last Friday after attending our daughter's graduation. The whole experience was impressive. The staff were unfailingly pleasent and were always working hard to keep the hotel functioning. This is a new hotel. A lot of thought has gone into the design and it sits well beside the Armouries. I was surprised to see two jousting horses in a paddock by my window. Breakfast was well organised and more than adequate. I booked in advance and am in Priority Club. The cost per room was very reasonable.

Stayed here for a conference for one night in June 2007. Booked a family room for myself so it was a good size. All rooms are the same price and breakfast is included.
I loved the layout and lighting of the rooms. TV tells you can order porno films as soon as you try and find the channels which I found a bit naff.
Had an evening meal of vegetable curry, rice and naan bread which was nice. Heard others around me complaining about the price of the food, but I was really hungry, so it seemed ok to me! Breakfast was good.

DO NOT USE THE PHONE IN THE ROOM! Stick to your mobile. I rang my husband and a 10 minute phone call at 10pm at night cost around £9...he was in the UK not Australia!
Would stay again but only if it was paid for as it all felt a bit formal.
