Rokeby Guest House is all that a B&B should be. The house iself is pleasant. Our room was large and well furnished. Breakfast in the Solarium was a delight. Our hostess was very helpful. The Rokeby is located a short walk out of the center of Salisbury in a quiet neighborhood. We prefer that to being downtown as Salibury can get quiet crowded.

Stayed one night where traveling. Clean, not too noisy, good room temp, good food. No complaints. Easy access off motorway.

When booking, get directions from owner. Rokeby's is easy to find, but Salisbury is a city with traffic and construction, so I found it easier to look for landmarks than street signs alone. Also, Rokeby's comes up almost as soon as you turn on their street. I missed it the first time.

My father, stepmother, college-age brother and I were directed to this B&B by the Salisbury tourist info office. How fortunate we were! The hosts were gracious, rooms were spacious, clean, convenient to town, there was free internet access, the garden was beautiful, and -- most importantly, the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend The Rokeby and would stay here again.

My wife and I decided to get away for a night or two and visit the grandchildren in Salisbury. A quick internet search showed up the Rokeby. We liked the sound of the upstairs, downstairs type of experience. I am not sure what type of room we had as it was a last minute booking and the only one they had left..It certainly was an upstairs/downstairs type of experience as our room was below stairs as you might say but don't let that put you off It was very roomy and
spacious, and a pleasure to return to after a night out in Salisbury.
It was very warm, cosy and everything was of a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable which is not always the case in such establishments. A big bonus was that the ground floor shower had amazing water pressure. We had a room with one double and two singles
but there was plenty of room to spread out. We found the place very easy to find and almost shot right past it as we came off the roundabout. We found that it seemed that nothing was too much trouble
and had a wonderful warm welcome upon arrival. The huge garden looked
lovely in the winter sun from the warmth of the house (it was november). The breakfast was absolutley lovely with some fantastic local sourced sausages. We would recomend it and would definately stay there again.
