We recently spent 2 nights at the Rokeby as our friends were getting married nearby; we were very glad that we chose to stay here, as we had a lovely stay. The room was wonderful - comfy and well-equipped; we did stay in one of their premiere rooms (Nr. 7) and it was very quiet and spacious. Another friend of ours stayed in a standard room (Nr. 5) and this was of very high quality also, with a massive modern bathroom and nicely decorated! Breakfast was full english or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (also cereals, toast etc) and was high quality and set us up well for the day (slightly too sore heads the next day to make the most of it, but that was from over-indulgence at the wedding!). The owners, Mark and Karen, were lovely friendly people and only too happy to help with everything. We would definitely recommend the Rokeby to anyone visiting Salisbury (it's handy for the centre too, walkable, although we took a taxi which cost £4.50 and that was at 1am), and if we were to go back again would most certainly stay there.

Rokeby Guest House is all that a B&B should be. The house iself is pleasant. Our room was large and well furnished. Breakfast in the Solarium was a delight. Our hostess was very helpful. The Rokeby is located a short walk out of the center of Salisbury in a quiet neighborhood. We prefer that to being downtown as Salibury can get quiet crowded.

Stayed one night where traveling. Clean, not too noisy, good room temp, good food. No complaints. Easy access off motorway.

When booking, get directions from owner. Rokeby's is easy to find, but Salisbury is a city with traffic and construction, so I found it easier to look for landmarks than street signs alone. Also, Rokeby's comes up almost as soon as you turn on their street. I missed it the first time.

My father, stepmother, college-age brother and I were directed to this B&B by the Salisbury tourist info office. How fortunate we were! The hosts were gracious, rooms were spacious, clean, convenient to town, there was free internet access, the garden was beautiful, and -- most importantly, the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend The Rokeby and would stay here again.
