Ate here bank holiday August weekend. Prices would have been reasonable if the food was edible ! Bolognase sauce that had not seen tomatoes. Lack of seasoning. Rock hard cold chips, lumpy mash, bisto gravy would have been welcome compared to the dishwater served with the "sausage" and mash. The ham on the toasties was so sub standard I really don't know how to describe it, would sooner eat dog food.
Went here on the strength of the reviews ... Had we gone on an off day ?
Surroundings not much to write home about either, very 70s. Poor selection of larger. Poor selection of wine.
