I was referred to Aberconwy by a friend.
She loved it. I thought the room was lovely. Enjoyed sitting on the second floor with a cup of tea watching it rain.
The host was all business when we arrived and checked in.
He had a list of things to go over. They were a bit distant. He was the cook and his wife served the breakfast. We ask to use their phone to make a phone card call. but was told she had to give the kids a bath. We were there two days and never got to use the phone. I felt like we were intruding just being there. I did not feel welcome.

Wow, this was the place to stay in betws-y-coed! It was by far our favoriate location on our trip. This lovely B & B had the best view and the most comfortable beds and a great breakfast. My daughter and I stayed in Room 2 the view was fantastic.

Betws-y-coed was a beautiful story book like village, and easy close access to other nearby areas.

If your looking for a place in North wales, this is a great home base. Emma and Stewart are wonderful hosts!

We were both looking for a relaxing break and decided to go to Betwys. We looked at quite a few bbs but liked the look and sound of this one. We had the room 6 with the four poster bed. The view from the room was breathtaking and the room itself was immaculcate with everything you need for a comfortable break. We stopped for 3 nights and enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning. This is one place i would go back to again.

The Bistro in Betwys was really good for traditional food - £40 +.
We also tried the chinese restaurant (i think there is only the one)
both very good.

Thank you to our hosts who really looked after us and good luck for the future.

Raj and Jag from West Midands.

First Class!!! This is our second stay at Aberconwy House and just like the first it was excellent, from the moment we arrived we felt part of the family, nothing is too much trouble.

We stayed in Room 1, as we had done the previous year, however the room had been upgraded with a new en-suite and also a new king size bed, and the view as always was fantastic.

The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and the breakfasts are excellent, I particularly liked the new addition of smoked salmon, which makes a nice lighter alternative to the full English, of which I have to say my brother-in-law had everyday!!!

Emma and Stuart are the perfect hosts, and we will definitely be visiting again.
