“a gem”

Aberconwy House

we stayed here for4 nights. so many sites are within 1 hour. we used this as a base . our room was extremely clean, and breakfast was excellent. you can walk into town for dinner, the town is adorable. we wish we would have had the time to stay a week. the hosts were very kind and gave us a lot of information,on walking trails and hikes, places to eat and places to see within an hours drive. loved it here.

We chose Aberconwy House based on the trip Advisor reviews and couldn't have had a nicer stay. We stayed in room 6 which is a nice large room with a four poster bed and lovely views through large paned windows. Emma and Stuart made us very welcome and having supplied us with a torch and umbrella for the 10 minute stroll advised us of the best places to go for our evening meal They weren't wrong the food at the recommended bistro was superb. Some people may find the parking arrangements less than ideal as although they can cater for 10 cars it involves a bit of tooing and froing. We parked up and walked, much easier. The Bed was soft and although I prefer a harder mattress we both slept well. There's a large flat screen TV but only the 4 channels. Tea, Coffee and Hot chocolate are provided in the room. The breakfasts are delicious. The hotel is fresh and clean throughout. Would I go back? You bet! We loved it a Great Place to Stay.

I visited with my girlfriend for a long weekend, and we were genuinely impressed with the rooms, cleanliness, parking, the owners, the breakfast and everything else that came with it. We visited as part of our "anniversary" with some champagne, the owners were kind enough to provide complimentary wine chillers and champagne flutes! The rooms were cleaned every day and made-up perfectly. The breakfasts were delightful and expertly made to our tastes, even though we were a little late for some of them they were quite happy to sit us down and cook us our food with no fuss.

Will DEFINITELY be visiting again!

(We stayed in Room 6-four poster room)

Had a great weekend with my husband staying at the Aberconwy House. We stayed in Room 6 which is the one with a four poster bed which was quite a large room and nicely furnished. The owners looked after us whilst we were there as you come to expect having read the other reviews and they gave on a variety of options of things to do whilst we were staying here, however our main aim was to climb snowdon which we did! We were provided with a packed lunch and a flask which was so convenient for us!

The local walk into town was ok, we never drove and always walked in, took us about 7-10 minutes max! It was quite good fun on the way back with your torch!!!!

I would recommend staying here although for myself would not return as we we want to explore a different part of wales next time also we were out of the room most days and nights to explore and £80 per night upon reflection is quite expensive.

The Bistro in Bewtsy was fantastic, we had a really good night in here and some fab local foods, it is recommended if you get the chance.

We also tried the local inn, the stables I think it was called for food, but it was over crowded and really busy and the food in my opinion was really stodgy...

Overall we had a fab break!
