We stayed at The Big Sleep for two nights.
The hotel entrance is not good. It is a single door off the street. You have to buzz reception, which is on the 2nd. floor, to be let in. This was very inconvenient trying to enter through the doors and elevators with luggage. At first the hotel appears to be in a dumpy area. This is due to all of the construction in the area.
The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the train station and 10 minute walk from the town centre.
The room and bathroom were a good size. There was a writing desk but no dresser or closet. There was an open metal rack on wheels with shelves one end that looked as though it was from Ikea. There is an electric wall heater which we controlled. This was very useful.
About 1:30 the first night we were awakened by running water. Water was running from the ceiling from the room above. Apparently, the jacuzzi overflows when not used correctly. It was obvious from the ceiling tiles that this had happened before. Water was running onto some of our things on the metal rack. Fortunately, nothing was damaged. We phoned the front desk and someone came up right away. We had to ask for our bill to be adjusted. Personally, I think we should have been given that night free of charge. The day we left there was another water leak. This time in the bathroom over the tub. Again, it was obvious from the ceiling tiles that this has happened before.
The front desk staff are very pleasant and the breakfast was surprisingly good. No hot, cooked food though.
