Staff were friendly and helpful but really the hotel was a little bit poor. For this sort of price I would have expected smarter bedding, a better bathroom etc. Not so much a bad hotel as a bit sloppy on the details. They knocked a bit off my bill because of porblems with the shower but 95 pounds for this would have been very poor value for money.

Good hotel and excellent value for money. Room was very clean and the staff were kind and friendly. Asked about local pub/ restaruants, one member of staff even took the trouble to book us ia table and a cab.
Can highly recommend a stay here for your visit to Cardiff.

Firstly I'd like to make clear that I have not even set foot inside of this hotel so my review is not a review of the facilities themselves. With that in mind I don't think I'd even want to try their facilities out.

I, very recently, emailed this hotel to enquire on room availability. They replied "Sorry! Fully booked". Which I at first thought was a very short answer and not very appropriate of a 3* hotel. I then replied "Short but not so sweet answer, thanks anyway!", thinking it important to thank them for replying in order I could eliminate their hotel from my search. But then they replied "Didn't have to reply, sure most hotels didn't". This I consider to be EXTREMELY rude and have sent them an email in response explaining my thoughts.

I wouldn't even recommend considering their hotel for a stay in Cardiff. This attitude probably sets the tone for the staying experience. Strange and disappointing since their website states;

"Manor Parc Country Hotel & Restaurant is a family business with friendly, personal service and attention to detail."
