Nicely furnished rooms, clean and comfortable.

Staff on reception are very friendly.

Spa can be busy at times but time it right and it is a very relaxing experience.

The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Central train station, 15 minute walk to City Centre or the Bay.

Paid £69 for double room and would say it was good value. Probably wouldn't like to pay much more and we certainly didn't part with £24 for breakfast there!! Get yourselves down to Cafe Rouge in the Bay for a tasty croissant and capuccino!

My Hubby and I stopped here on a Friday night as we going to a Wedding in Caerphilly.

We paid £94. This included the room, breakfast and the car park and i must say we were quite disappointed!

I booked direct with the hotel a few weeks ago and i was certain the price was only £65, and i must have assumed this included breakfast... how silly i was.

The staff were nice, had a smoking room though and it did smell a bit but we did need to check in early (so much for the ban).

Apart from that the room was clean but basic, although the bed was lovely!

Breakfast was standard.

If you don't mind paying £100 a night this is the place for you! Walk in price is £250 which stunned us! The standards were no different to your average Holiday Inn if you ask me and they are a lot cheaper!!

If you are attending a Wedding at Caerphilly Castle there are lots of hotels closer and cheaper! A taxi one way cost us £18.60!

me and my boyfriend went there for one night stay, 21 february and it was very nice. i had previously stayed at novotel in paris, and i think they are a ncie 4 star chain.

the bar is open til 5 am (3 am some days) we also ordered room service, and the food was in big portions, and ok prices too.

there is a swimming pool, gym, nice big comfy rooms. sofa and bed, and a desk, and a nice 'flat' screen tv.

would deff stay there again.

the hotel is only a 10-15 min walk to the city centre. or a couple of minutes on the bus.

nice bar and restaurant there too.

Booked the deal through Travelzoo and paid £65 for a superior room per night (included 1 bottle of wine in our room, 1 x 24hr free films and internet access, but no slippers and no dressing gowns) stayed 3 nights over the easter weekend and this is the first time we have stayed with Novotel, room was nice and big, staff really helpfull, hotel is clean, good spa pool & gym but jacuzzi not working 2 days of our stay, hotel is well located approx 15/20 minutes walk for the bay and town centre.

Nice hotel but 'Beware extra costs' breakfast cost extra £12 each but they do you a deal if you pay for all breakfasts for your stay in full at checkin = £15 for 2 people per day, add this to the £5 per night car parking and this brings the total cost per night to a staggering £85 and in our opinion this is definately not a £85 a night hotel.
