Stayed hre for one night while attending concert at Millenium Stadium. Because of this event all the hotels had doubled their prices for the night, &when we booked this was the only hotel left within walking distance of the stadium that had rooms, & they had put up their prices from £75 to £150 for b&b. (or could have gone to Hilton for £300!)
Room had two double beds nice & comfy with good pillows. No bath but large shower cubicle with very powerful shower, nice toiletries. Complimentary tea & coffee,no biccies. Only had two tea bags so had to ask for more, we like at least a cup when we get there & one first thing in the morning !
Not able to open windows but had a/c. Was next to a very busy road, which was a nightmare to cross, quite scary. Couldn't hear any road noise in room, & road not visible due to screen of trees. Was only a short walk to city centre once across the road.
Curtain was hanging off rail, & grubby marks on walls, & bathroom could have been cleaner.
was ok for one night, but would not stay there again, due to poor location, & rip off prices ( they tried to charge us £6.50 each for continental breakfast when we checked out, but we refused to pay as we had documentation to say it was included )
