I am a 'Priorty Club Rewards Member' and have stayed at this Hotel a few times and have been pleasantly surprised by its standard. I was somewhat disappointed to experience a number of hickups this time.
1. Although having a confirmation email showing reservation number and 'PRICE', upon checking out after my stay I was gobsmacked to find that the price had gone up by £20.. I argued my point and stated my reservation number confirmed the price to be £59.95 but the person on reception just said i had to take the matter up with 'Priority Club Rewards' as they were seperate from the Hotel. I called for the Manager who said 'I can see Yes, your price has been amended to £79.95 for 'some reason'. Fortunately, she amended the system and charged me the correct amount. I wonder how many more customers have been overcharged at checkout??
2. Insufficient food and seating at breakfast. People were standing up eating.
3. Waiting on staff who discussed out loud that they were disgruntled that they were not allowed a break at breakfast time because its busy! Did they not see all the customers eating bowls of cereal standing up? The table were not cleared quick enough and never wiped down after each party left.
VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THIS VISIT
