stayed here on 23/11/06 for one night.

the hotel is nice and clean and on the outside and public decor side it is marginally above travelodge and travel inn.

the rooms however are WAY better - stunning good sized bathroom with superb shower and double size cubicle.

air con with heating - fully controllable.

2 very big double beds.

Big room - proper desk, nice big relaxing chair.

20" plasma tv on the wall.

lots of coffee n tea.

very nice staff - lent me wine glasses, corkscrew and other stuff.

the location is a little odd until you realise its between 5-10 minutes to be right in the city centre - and that's on foot.

check in is late at 16:00 but without asking they allowed me to check in earlier.

car park is free.

i REALLY liked this place - its WAY above average.

I got the room for £65 including breakfast - it would have cost the same all in for 4 people sharing.

Recommended.

Modern, big clean rooms, nicely furnished.
Difficult to find the hotel, off duel carriageway by car dealership. No grounds, only a carpark, just looks like a modern pre-fab box, no character, everything new and shiney.
Not far from things but need car to get into town or to Cardiff bay (unless you're willing to walk along hard-shoulder) Had a great time down in the Bay and around the area but would say its sister hotel much better for not much more (if you can find a deal on lastminute etc)
