Beside getting terribly lost in Belfast trying to find the Tara Lodge (our fault not theirs!) we had a great experience staying there. The reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious with more options than most places we stayed. It was a convenient location for walking to the city center with plenty of restaurants and a few bars nearby as well.

Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Would recommend to anyone. Great price given quality and location. Breakfast was wonderful -service and food very good.

A friend and I stayed for one night at Tara Lodge. We had a twin bedroom. The room was furnished well and looked luxurious when we walked in. We found the beds not as comfy as they looked - and a hint for the owners - buy bigger sheets!! The people were great, full of info about the area and the breakfast also great - not just a 'full irish' was on offer. Location was good also, plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and a 10-15 walk to the centre.

me and my friend stayed in the tara lodge for 2 nights whilst we were in belfast. The staff are so lovely and friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was so fresh and loads of it too. The beds are so comfy we didnt want to get out of them.
Its only about 10-15 mins from city centre, but theres loads of bars and restaurants at the end of the road too if you cant be bothered to go far.
Would definately stay there again.
1 massive point to note- NOTHING is open before 1pm on Sundays, because Saturday night guarantees a fat hang over Sunday!
