This is probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in many years.
The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. The breakfast is very good. Location is quite central.
I will stay here if I ever go to Belfast again and DO recommend it to other travellers.

The Tara Lodge is THE nicest hotel I have stayed in on any of my business trips but at the same time is far from the most expensive.

It's location in Belfast is a little unusual and there is some noise from the botanics railways but these are the only downsides and it's not that far to restaurants and value or fona cabs are there to get you around at a reasonable rate.

The rooms are of very high standard and are very clean indeed, the staff are very friendly and the breakfast....wow.....amazing stuff....I may be going back soon but am leaving early morning which means I will miss breakfast which is a big dissapointment for me!

Surf 2 Go wireless was a bit slow on signup and signal was weaker in one of the 3 rooms I have stayed in there but when working is swift and very good value, service from Surf 2 Go was as good as the hotels, when I had a problem they sent someone to the hotel to fix the router!

Cannot rate the hotel highly enough, I don't consider anything else when booking trips to Belfast!

Stayed for two nights recently. This was my second visit (last in 2004). What was good in 2004 was even better this time with recently refurbished rooms. This place must be the best value in Belfast compared to the unjustified crazy prices of other Belfast hotels. The only down side is the location which can prove to be daunting at first (student's quarters) but it is very convenient for Botanic railway station and some excellent restaurants and bars (try the Metro restaurant opposite the station). Friendly and helpful staff.

Good location, near lots of restaurants and only 10 minutes from central Belfast. Room was clean and modern and breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. Would stay here again.
