We found this hotel basically fine except for the restaurant staff who seemed to regard us as a nuisance for being there. Getting their attention was difficult and when we did it was "all a bit too much trouble". One of our party complained her meat was tough at dinner and the waitress just nodded pleasantly and did nothing about it not even apologise. Breakfast was worse - getting tomato ketchup proved a major issue for them and although breakfast was advertised as being served until 9.30am - we were asked to take what we wanted from the buffet at 9.20 not long after arriving as they were putting it all away.
The rooms were okay - not smokey which we were worried about having read the reviews. They were equipped with tea/coffee etc but the bathroom needed grouting and the glass shelf above the sink was missing which proved really awkward as toiletries had to be stored outside in the bedroom and brought back and forth. Another in our party had a bedroom light not working.
I think perhaps they favour the conference business more than the holidaymakers which we were.
That said if you want reasonably priced, adequate facilities in an ideal location for City Airport and a 5 min drive from the city centre then try it. We may have caught them on an off day.

A reasonable rate of 75 pounds per night. Located in a quiet and peaceful surrounding, which almost makes you forget the long-lasting sectarian conflict in Belfast. Close to the city airport. A bus stop right in front of the hotel and frequent services to the city center. The guestroom is spacious and clean, good for relaxing after a day's tiring work or pleasure-seeking. The staff were cool and calm, but tried to be helpful to me. On my check-out day, they allowed me to eat breakfast before the regular breakfast-time. The bar food is cheap and delicious. Two pints of beer, chicken curry with rice and onion rings cost 14.05 pounds only. Beware of drunken guests. This hotel has an attitude to try to improve themselves. Two things to improve. The laundry service was expensive, but my clothes were poorly washed. The way of sending an e-mail from the hotel should be less complex. Generally speaking, a nice hotel. I found this hotel worth booking again if their rate remains unchanged.

Nice friendly hotel, rooms need a little updating. We were going to make use of the pub in the hotel but it was completely full with what appeared to be a function for a big group of men! Restaurant was very nice, staff were very friendly but could do with some training! Hotel was advertised as being very close (5 mins walk) to the city centre, it turned out to be a 15 minute rather hairy bus ride! Would stay again though as was good value for money booked via hotelopia.
