I'm going to get the grumble said first - there was extensive building work going on in the house nextdoor which meant workmen, pneumatic drills and loud music from 8am Monday to Saturday. Having said that the manageress of the hotel complex was very understanding and spoke to the builders to try and resolve the problem, she also knocked some money off the bill so no lasting complaints.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants etc within easy walking distance. The Malone Lodge Hotel is close and you can use the hotel facilities free of charge, you can also take breakfast there (for a charge) if you don't fancy doing your own.
A breakfast package was in the room when we arrived - loaf of bread, 2 litres of milk, some butter and jam, selection of cereals. However only the cereals got replaced as the days went by.
The suites were clean and comfortable with useful extras such as washing machine, dishwasher etc. We had everything we needed and it was comfortable. The lounge of the apartment looks out onto the road which is generally quiet even on a Saturday night but the bedroom windows have a view of the house next door and, in our case, the building work.
However, we enjoyed our stay and would quite possibly stay here again on our next trip to Belfast.
