I stay in Aberdeen regularly as part of my work, and have made the Skene House, Holburn my regular 'haunt'. Rather than a hotel room, you have a mini-aprtment which is serviced. A kitchen, a bathroom / WC, comfortable dining room / lounge room. Off street secure parking at the rear of the hotel, a small bar / lunge area adjacent to reception.
Tastefully furnished, comfortable and a home from hom in the heart of the city at the West end of Union Street. Costs are about the same as most hotels in Aberdeen, but you have the additional option of 'having a night in' and cooking a meal if you like. Restaurant for breakfast is down stairs and serves traditional fayre if required.
Only slight criticism is the controllability of the heating - tends to be warm.
Go for the upper floors overlooking the car park for an extra quiet night!

Thank you very much for your kind comments. It’s always a pleasure to hear that our guests have enjoyed their stay and would like to share their experience with others.
It’s also a pleasure to hear that you make Skene House Holburn your regular place to stay when in Aberdeen. I am sure you will agree a staying in a suite is much more comfortable than staying in a hotel room.
It was also lovely to read that our suites felt like a ‘Home from Home’. Our staff genuinely enjoy making sure all our guests have a comfortable stay, while they are with us.
I do hope it won't to be long before you come back to stay again.
Once again thank you for your kind comments.
