I have started using this hotel regularly when travelling to Dumfries. I keep going back there because I always find the experience warm and friendly. The staff work very hard to ensure that from the moment you check in, your stay is relaxing and hassle free. The rooms are well furnished with 4-poster beds and jacuzzi baths available. Being literally 20 steps from the station makes it easy for the rail traveller while there is parking for residents right outside for the driver.
The Bistro restaurant is freshly furnished and decorated and the menu is always impossible to make a choice from - such are the variety of dishes to choose from. A stay of more than 2 days will be very bad for the waistline, especially given the size of the always-hot cooked breakfast.
I assure readers that I am not in the pay of this hotel - I simply wish to share one the best experiences I have enjoyed for a while with others.
