A bit late writing this review...but wanted to review the Gladstone House in Kircudbright because we really had a lovely time there.

We wanted to tour the southern Scottish coast and had heard that Kirkcudbright was quite sweet, so we booked a night over Valentines Day weekend.

The house was set in a perfect and quiet part of town. Our room was gorgeous! The linens were nice and very comfortable.

I remember the breakfast being quite satisfactory...not particularly OUT of this world (though, to be fair, I'm not a fan of Scottish Breakfasts).

The hosts were VERY friendly and made our decision to stay there even more rewarding.

We'd quickly and gladly recommend this place to any friends, out-of-town relatives visiting Kirkcudbright. I rarely stay in the same place twice, but I think I'd be more than happy to spend another evening at Gladstone House in the future.

A perfect little romantic place to get away.
