“A warm welcome, good food, lovely rooms and .. a nice price !!”
I have now stayed at Longforgan Coaching Inn three times since 2001 and on each occasion have received a warm and friendly welcome.
Its character comes from not only being at the heart of the local community but also by offering excellent value accommodation and fayre to both the business and holiday traveller.
Longforgan is a great location to explore from -
Take a trip North to Coupar Angus, Blairgowrie and through Glen Shee into Braemar and Royal Balmoral on the River Dee .. truly spectacular ...
Not forgetting Dundee with its infamous Tay Bridge and many more tourist attractions ...
,,, and of course the golfers have both St Andrews and Carnoustie within a 20 mile radius ! .
There is easy access from the Inn to the fast A90 into Perth and on to Edinburgh or in the opposite direction to the East Coast towns of Arbroath, Montrose, Stonehaven, and Aberdeen.
The food on offer at the Coaching Inn is excellent value. On offer is a fixed price menu with a good selection or if you want to upgrade from the entry level menu, there are a whole range of cullinary goodies to choose from.
The accommodation comprises rooms in the main house (Inn) with a modern purpose built barn conversion offering many rooms on two floors around a central courtyard. I have stayed in both and whilst the Courtyard conversion is more modern, they are both fully equiped, very clean and tidy.
Ally and Shirley will make you very welcome and do whatever they can to make your stay with them relaxing and enjoyable.
I have no hesitation in adding the above as my personal recommendation.
