I am really interested in the Royal Family and our visit to the yacht was very interesting. It is truly beautiful. I would recommend to all and especially my fellow Americans.

The tour was extremely informative, staff very friendly and helpful, must have the lemon drizzle cake and tea in the tea room after your tour. Great to do a tour at your own leisure instead of being guided. handsets very easy to use, great value!

The lemon drizzle cake is delicious, Holidaygang8, I'm glad you tried that in the Royal Deck Tea Room while you were on board Britannia. Thanks for coming to visit and for your five-star review.

Wow!! the opulence & grandeur of the royal yatch had me spellbound. We didn't imagine that inside would be so pretty. The audio guide gave a good insight into the history of the property, made captivating by stories of royal famity & various dignitaries who visited it.The highlight of the tour are State dining room, Royal collection,Queen's Apartments and crew’s quarters, and ending in the Engine Room. The Souvenir shop is equally attractive , loads of gifts to pick from. In fact, the entire Ocean Terminal is a delightful experience, so much to shop & eat. The Britannia's visitor centre on second floor of the Ocean Termiinal is a must visit to get a first hand information of the yatch.

One of the most interesting places i've visited. to see how the Royal family lived whilst on holiday and getting away from it all was quite an eye opener, not the unmitigated luxury i was expecting, rather reminiscent of a holiday home by the sea. pictures of HRH relaxing showed how much she loved and treasured the place and how important it is for all of us, including royals to have somewhere to relax and be ourselves.
A tremendous insight into a key part of the family's lifestyle, and a really poignant reminder that they no longer have such a retreat, a real shame.
would absoutely recommend this to everyone.

This was our second visit to the Royal Yacht but our friends first one. We were all really pleased with he way that the tour is planned and you do need to allow a good two hours to leisurely enjoy the tour which gives a really good insight as to how the Royals and the crew lived on board this lovely ship.
The hand set which delivers so much information , some quite witty, is easily used and can be stopped and started at your own pace.
A recent addition is the new Royal Deck tea room which is where we had lunch. Everything is very nice as you might imagine and we felt that the quality and quantity of the food was worth very penny paid.
This is one attraction which is very well worth a visit and prices in the gift shop are not too astronomical for some souvenirs.

Great to hear you enjoyed your second visit as much as your first, Seggiesmoggie. There is a lot to see on board, and it is a good suggestion to allow plenty of time to enjoy the audio tour. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
