We chose this hotel as we have stayed in a variety of Travelodges before and it was good value. It was easy to find and check in staff we pleasant. The initial room we were given was the end room of the corridor on the 3rd floor (320) and had only 2 small windows so was quite dark. Also, it only had a shower and no bath. I popped back to reception to see if I could get a room with a bath and shower (its good to have a choice after all!) and was told only family rooms have a shower over a bath so please be mindful of this if you like a bath and book a family room. However, they did have a spare disabled room on the lower ground floor at the back of the building so we took that with no problems at all. This room was much bigger and brighter too. Although we did now have a shower and bath, the shower was a 'attachment style' and the hose got in the way and the head kept wanting to spray towards the wall which made for a fustrating shower!! Anyway, the room was clean and comfortable, typical travelodge. Our stay was good, the bar was fine and on the last morning we had the 'All you can eat' breakfast for £7.50 which was ok - range of hot food, cereals, fruit, bread etc, fine quality but not exceptional. The staff were helpful throughout the stay and we will probably stay here again on further trips.
