There are lots of good cafes in Edinburgh. This one's definitely my favourite though. An excellent range of sweet and savoury crepes, friendly atmosphere, great staff and the best coffee. Thoroughly recommended.

wonderful experience , lovely and friendly staff and, the food is just so good and delicate , even better than in France ;) i wonder why nobody did it before . For such a good quality food, this place practice a really low price , i will definetly go back as soon as i can .
So if you want to go for a nice lunch with friends or just relax with you coffee and laptop or book this is your place too, love it and you will too !!!

Le Cafe gourmand is one of these cosy Cafés where you really have the impression to be at home . The atmosphere is really nice , you could stay in one of the couch all the afternoon long with the delicious pastries , crêpes and tea . Or for lunch with the good homemade soups . The staff is also nice and friendly . As a French myself , I can tell : you won't regret it , everything is perfect !

Stumbled upon this newish place a few months back. Sooo good. Macaroons from France (passion fruit especially). Lovely staff. Fab coffee. Especially love the weekend breakfasts and lovely crepes. Little bit of France here in Edinburgh.
