You`ll find it difficult to choose where to eat along this track on Argyle Street and Dumbarton Road, such is the choice of restaurant nationalities and quality.
Lamora is a friendly `modern` Italian restaurant run by the eponymous family. All the usuals are on the menu, often with a little twist or lift above the ordinary, and usually served under the direction of the welcoming Sylvano. The dining room is light and airy, and the location handy for the SECC and Kelvingrove gallery.
Fresh bread every day, and has a good value and regularly changing lunch/pre-theatre menu - I regularly visit at lunchtime and quite often for (grown-up) family meals.
Tables usuallly available without booking, particularly at lunchtime, but it can get fuller on big concert nights.
Cost is middle of the road, but value is excellent.
