Wolfson hall is a pretty good choice if you're looking for somewhere basic but not very expensive (30 pounds for a twin room) to stay in Glasgow during the uni. holidays.
The rooms are basic (it's student accomodation after all!), but the beds were comfortable and there was a tv / kettle & sink in the room. There's also free internet, but you'll need a cable, as its not wifi. The bathroom facilities were clean, although we did find it difficult to use the shower cubicle without getting everything soaked - bring a bag to hang clothes in!
The rooms got hot during the day even in mild weather, so we had to leave the windows open at night, but the campus is mostly surrounded by sports grounds and parks so we had no noise issues at night.
There is parking on the campus for cars, and buses go into Glasgow city from outside the campus gates. We found the hall a little hard to find at first - the campus is on the left side of Maryhill rd as you drive away from the centre of Glasgow. The hall is about 500 yards along the road that runs through the campus, opposite the octagonal reception building for the science park.
