Having read great reviews I took my daughter for a post exam treat only to be truly disappointed on so many levels.
The premises are worn and shabby which is why the word"'vintage" is used.
The waitress didn't listen to our order properly and we ended up with sandwiches we didn't want. The cakes were awful, especially the scone. it was doughy , hard and hot which meant the cream on top slipped off as I picked it up.
We did explain to the waitress why we didn't eat the food but she simply acknowledged our experience and then charged us the full amount. The most expensive cup of tea I've bought!
