We stayed here for 2 nights this summer and when our online booking went sour (unrelated to the hotel), they stepped up and saved the day!
Very accommodating and kind.
The hotel is right on the river Clyde so the view is lovely, get a river view if you can.
Rooms were very clean, albeit smallish, iMac was great for both Internet and tv use.
It's near the fab. Riverside Museum of Transportation and, if you're into this, ...wow! A world class museum and free! If you walk there from the hotel, it will take you about 15 min.
Also, across the river, is the Glasgow Science Centre and the IMAX cinema.
This hotel is a bit away from downtown, so this is the only drawback i see. You can take a cab for 5 pounds to get you to the heart of downtown. We did not try the bus, but apparently there is one.
Now... Breakfast.. Excellent. Eggs as you like, bacon, haggis, sausages, incredible waffles ( you make these yourself), great juice, fine coffee, pastries, lovely fresh buns, cereal etc etc..The quality of the food is excellent. To add to the experience, beautiful tasteful dishes to eat out of (a common thing in Scotland, great style!).
I prefer hotel rooms that are a little larger, but every effort has been put in the design to make it feel roomy.
