“Beware wake up calls!”

I stayed for one night on business. The hotel is newish and the rooms are excellent especially for the price. I had room service which was OK and served on time.

My main issue is that at 4AM in the morning I received a wake up call. Note this is an airport hotel so you have people arriving all hours. You have a TV in the room where you can set a wake up call. Also most people have mobile phones where they can set a call. Why is there a need for reception to offer a service for someone to get a 4AM wake up call and then get the wrong room? By the way the guy called twice. I then struggled to get to sleep and woke up knackered.

Breakfast is good and the hot breakfast is cooked to order.

I queried there wake up policy at reception. The droid on the other side made the token completely disinterested apology and then went through his standard patter.

I stressed that I didn't see the point of offering 4AM wake up calls, when it can be done in the room, but unfortunately I had made a point that wasn't on the training script and was ignored!
I had to laugh when I saw the 3 had been crossed out on the wake up call list at reception and replaced by a 2. I was in 324!

Overall a good value hotel but I would never use it again.

Stayed here for one night before flight and a very good airport hotel, you get courtesy bus to hotel which is just a few minutes away (within walking distance although you end up walking along motorway which aint really a good ideal like I found out). Rooms very cheap (about £55), clean comforable and modern. Budget prices and high class accommodation as very impressed with the overall presentation with the hotel, I never ate at the hotel so can not comment on its service, it does have a large bar and eating area, Has a computer for PAYG Internet access. Friendly staff and would stay again for airport visits in the future as outbeats the other airport hotels at glasgow.

Stayed here 1 night after arriving at Glasgow airport en route to the Highlands. (Pointer, you can get a courtesy bus to the hotel by using a phone in the main terminal building by international arrivals).

The room was clean, spacious and modern, and the soundproofing was very good. There was a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water, and everything in the room worked.

The only complaint I have is that the bed was very uncomfortable with an old sprung matress - I could feel every spring in it!

For £65 a night however, I have stayed in many worse places for twice that price, so overall I think this is a good value hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night in March 2008 for a business conference.

The menu in the restaurant is the same as the bar menu so theres no need to sit in the restaurant really. Menu consisted mostly of italian food and mostly fried but ok.

The rooms was nice, spacious and had a lovely bathroom. the curtain is a mirror so it makes the room look massive and is a nice feature.

My room was cold (could be because I was on ground floor) manager couldnt do enough and provided me with a radiator. excellent customer service.

The conference facilities are ok, we held an assessment centre and our main room was on the ground floor and all the interview rooms on the 2nd floor so not convenient and wasted a bit of time.

Overall a good hotel.

We stayed at the Ramada Jarvis for two nights and while the location wasn't that great (it was just beside the airport so there's absolutely no shopping nor food there. You'll need to rent a car to drive out), the room itself was pretty good. It was new, clean and very spacious and the heater was really good and handy.

The shower was very new and clean and they even provided Dove and Lux soap for you to use. I paid 50 pounds a night (including cooked breakfast) so it was a real steal. Do go online to get these deals as I think it's often 75 pounds if you booked elsewhere.
