This was my second time a the Crowwood Hotel and i've got to say what a difference. When it was a premier inn it was quite obviously forgotten about. I now believe it is privately owned and you can tell. There's a lot of love and attention has gone into this hotel. Really glad to see places like this getting the attention they deserve. Will def be back.

I had been in the area of the hotel before and stopped in a couple of years ago to have lunch with a friend. Then the food was terrible, the lady who claimed to be the manager couldn't have been less help and the place looked completely dated. I vowed I would NEVER return, but I had heard good things about it being under new mangement and having a reburbishment so I decided to try again - this time couldn't have been more opposite from the first! The place looks amazing, you could tell the new owners really wanted a fresh start from before. Everything was produced with a really professional quality from the food to the drinks to the helpful receptionist at the front desk. It was a Friday and very busy but we were still very accommodated to. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in, host a party or grab a bite!! Well done!!!

last yr when i stayed at crowwood it was in the middle of gettin refurbished so was lookin 4ward 2 seeing the changes.the bar and restuarant changed but wot about the rooms?rooms had same problems as lst yr and yr before when i was there.

This hotel has a lot to offer it has been nicely decorated rooms are a great size and basic but first impressions are good. Thats where it stops, the restaurant is very modernly decorated and looks quite upmarket however the food was well below standard. Probaably one of the worst meals I've had for the money I've paid. Found what I can only describe as a brush bristle in my main course then because I didn't enjoy the starter either decided to opt out of the pudding in favour of a hot chocolate instead, which arrived with a large fly floating in it! Rooms were not very clean and bedding had obviously not been changed since previous guest (hairs still in bed!) Was no sheet in between quilt and fitted sheet and quilt was stinking! Had to ask for fresh linen from the receptionist and change bed myself. Only to find a huge stain in the middle of the so called new clean sheet when unfolded it. Sent that back and got a new one, just terrible!!! Water was not hot enough to have a bath and shower ran cold in the morning aswell, very poor for a hotel. As I said this hotel has great potential but the staff here are obviously letting it down. The receptionist did however remove our full meal bill for our inconvenience which I was happy with.
