I stayed for one night. The rooms are OK but they are a little dated and I couldn't open the windows which were sealed. This freaked me out a bit! I was at the back of the lodge which is directly on the A80 and it was quiet.
I had room service which you need to go down and order but they bring it to your room. Food was pretty good. Breakfast was a bit like the ghost town. It's buffet style including coffee in a central pot and nobody arrived till I nearly finished, when I was asked if I wanted toast. No big deal though the breakfast was fine.
They had a problem finding me an ironing board, but I got an iron. There is no wireless internet in the hotel. In this day and age that is a little odd. I ended up in the lobby of their competitor the premier inn about half a mile away!
Overall an OK stay, but without the wireless I would probably not bother next time.
