Before booking our 5 day stay at this establishment, I was a bit concerned that it might not be very good. I read all the other reviews on the Annex before deciding to book it & was expecting the worst when we first walked into the room. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised! The room looks exactly like the one in the picture on the LateRooms website. Everything was very neat and clean. Sure, the "wetroom" was a bit tiny, but the water coming out of the shower was strong, powerful and hot! What more can you ask for? In each apartment there are 6 rooms all en-suite. For each apartment there is a kitchen to share between the 6 rooms including cooking facilities and a fridge to put your own food in. Very secure entry everywhere and I was never worried that I might come back to find any of my things missing. There's a tremendous amount of buses passing about a block away from the Annex and it's only a few miles from the Hillhead shopping area. Big Tesco also only about 15 mins walking from Annex. We would gladly stay there again.

Cheap, fulfills short term needs but wouldn't want to stay longer than necessary. Room was clean -ish (carpet hadn't been cleaned since last occupyer and food crumbs still on the floor) but the bed was clean and comfortable. The ensuite has to be seen to be believed! The shower falls over the toilet pan, so be warned - remove the toilet paper before you shower!! Location is quite close to the city but immediate surroundings resemble a bomb site to don't expect any local services.

Be very carefuly with this place

It is NOT a guest house or a hotel, in fact it is student flats that are empty and let out. The picture on their website is not actually anywhere near the representation of the room, in fact it is copied from the old Crowne Plaza glasgow website.

The rooms are very small, with poor quality plastic locks on the doors and are part of a larger student complex, thus meaning it is very noisy at weekends, the walls are paper thin so we were able to listen to the people next doors conversations. The toilet was an abosulte joke, a tiny sink, and a shower that flows over the toilet bowl. It reminded me of the toilets on the lower levels of cruise ship cabins, but much smaller again

We eventually checked out and went to a proper hotel, the location is not the best part of the city and also very difficult to find as nowhere do they tell you that its student flats you are looking for.

The hotel is situated about 20-25 minutes walk from the Glasgow city centre. It is well connected with buses and many of them so you don't have to walk. The area the hotel is situated is not aesthetically nice. The hotel itself is well presented - it looks like a new high-rise block. It is tidy with helpful receptionists. The layout of the hotel on each floor is interesting. You walk through one secure door using your key into a hallway with 5 secured bedrooms and a shared kitchen with all the facilities you need to cook and eat including fridges. We found this kitchen facility very useful. Only the 5 guest in can access each their room and kitchen in this section. So it is secure.
We had a decent sized room with a double bed an en-suite wet room and a TV with DVD player. All the furnishing were modern. My girlfriend thought it was too small but she normally goes to 5 star hotels. However, for the price she was happy with the accommodation.
The wet room was clean and tidy and spacious enough, its shower worked really well so I spent ages in there!!
For the price of £30 per night for 2 people I was impressed with this accommodation.
If you want budget accommodation which is modern, clean and easy access to the city centre then look no further.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We're retired and like comfortable beds and value hotels. The room was very clean, if small, and comfortable. The place is difficult to find (it's right next door to the Football ground) so we rang and the staff waved from the door! (where else would you get that service). We also had a spotless shared kitchen for making meals. The area is not good and it is not in easy walking distance of Glasgow centre but we parked in their secure car park. Recommended if you are on a budget (probably twice the price for the same in town) and if you can tolerate the location.
