Stayed in 6 different hotels/Guest houses in the past fortnight, I can honestly say, that this one was by far the best. World class, right down to the finest detail. Immaculately clean, comfortable. All mod-cons. You needn't ask for anything. Our room had a fridge, trouser press, excellent power shower and stero system. Available without asking for was Internet access, iron/board, bottle opener/ port&sherry, fine selection of cakes.... delicious!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Our stay at the Westbourne Guest House was very pleasant. The location is great, on the banks of the river Ness (wonderful sunsets). We stayed in the Bruce Room, it was very nice and clean. The bathroom was perfect. There were tea/coffee facilities, tv, hairdryer, dvd. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. In the room there is a very helpful book with all the information you need to find restaurants, shops and ideas to explore what is around Inverness.
The Highlanders breakfast is superb, almost too good to be true! The buffet is rich, all is fresh and good.
I would strongly recommend this guest house and I think it's worth every pound. I definitely would stay here again If I had to go to Inverness again.

This was one of the best sleeps I had in Scotland. The room was so clean and every detail was attended to. The breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were friendly.

I would recommend this guest house to anyone!

we stayed one night at the Westbourne Guest House, (with late notice) and were very pleased....
They had even set up a cot for our infant for no extra charge...
the breakfast is good, and the living area was complete with DVDs, games, and nite caps
the location is nice, quite and just across the foot bridge to resturants ****note**** Everywhere requires reservations so call ahead!
I accidently left my credit card there after paying and the owners called as soon as we got home to tell me they had it and that they would send it to me in secure post....very nice people...will stay again

We loved this place and will stay there again. Very family friendly.

It is on the River Ness, (cute ducks for your kids to feed) near the pedestrian bridge to walk to the train station and the castle. The location and price cannot be beat. We were able to walk everywhere with our two year-old.

The host, Richard, is very helpful and accommodating. He will put breakfast in your fridge if you have an early plane (i.e. the 7 AM to Gatwick) to catch the next day. Westbourne also has internet access for guests.

The rooms are comfortable, with fridges, albeit a little utilitarian (but who cares with a location like this).
