Situated approx 20 mins drive from Inverness on the road to Loch Ness & Fort Augustus, The Steadings is located in beautiful, breathtaking scenery, set in the Strathnairn valley. I stayed in Flichity, a lovely room with a large very comfortable four poster bed. What sets this exclusive hotel out from others, apart from its location, is the hospitality provided by the new owners which extends to excellent cuisine using local produce. Having suffered a cancelled flight, the hotel not only provided me with a room for the night but looked after my every need down to supplying me with toothbrush and razor.
