My wife's birthday present of our night's stay and dinner at this small, friendly and fabulous hotel ticked all the boxes! Our 'Chic' room was split level with bathroom and dressing room below with a short stair leading to the bedroom. My wife loved the toiletries and I loved the coffee machine! The whole interior is decorated in a very adventurous modern style, yet retains a cool and elegant atmosphere.
The food is superb - in a league of it's own. Don't take my word for it; take the dining option when you book your room. I'll be back!

Consistently friendly, efficient and excellent service from the knowledgeable staff at Rocpool..Lots of little touches which made all the difference, lovely Molton Brown toiletries, oversized bathrooms, good mineral water and coffee in rooms.
We had dinner in the restaurant, preceded by spot on cocktails! Dinner was faultless, adventurous but excellent menu.
Super atmosphere at Rocpool, would definitely return.

Stayed with my wife on a dinner/ bed and breakfast deal on Saturday night.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Rocpool and will not be my last.

The hotel itself is stunning with the Rooms being the best standard I have been to, I was in the Chic class room 11. The only thing wrong was no view but the Plasma TV and fire made up for it .

Although the hotel has won many awards it is not pretencious and all the staff were very friendly, the owner made a point of coming over to speak to us and enquired about our stay, felt valued and welcome. He spent much of the evening talking to residents.

No request was too much for the ever present manageress, Gaynor or her staff with a special mention to the night Porter, Gino who went out of his way to make our evening special.

I woud agree with other correspondants who fet it was a bit pricey athough I did feel pampered and well looked after. The dea I had was for Dinner and there was no set price, just enjoy the beautiful food. The breakfast was continental and you pay more for a cooked breakfast, we did not need to as the food was plentiful.

Highly recommend ths hotel for anyone looking for something a bit special for a get away in a brilliant City.

I stayed here just before christmas & the whole experience was outstanding.
The room we stayed in was fabulous, everything was perfect. The staff were lovely & especially kind to my young son.
We ate early in the hotel resaturant & the food was spectacular.
Overall it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I loved the real black christmas tree, the attention to detail is incredible.I was simply amazed. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and am very surpised at the previous comments that it is not for young people - on the contrary I think it is very suitable for anyone wanting to treat themselves at any age.

The gentelman who seems to be running the place is very rude!! We felt like an problem the whole time we were there?

Andy the bar/ rest manager was excellent needs to look at moving to london to get more traning & Money but fantastic for inverness.

Other than that I would not recomend this place if you wish to go for a relaxing weekend as the snobbish people & staff make you feel really uncomfortable.

This place is really not for young couples
