Moyness House

when we got to the moyness house i was newly prego and sick. when we booked our trip i wasn't. i am so glad that we picked the moyness house even though we were planning on doing a lot of hiking and such. it was a great place to relax in. very quiet, very pretty, and very peaceful. breakfast was wonderful. and the owners were amazingly hospitable and friendly. i couldn't imagine staying at a better place or being more comfortable (including my own home) to stay either while i was sick or feeling great. loved it!!!!

Moyness House

I decided to go to Inverness at the last minute and was very lucky to get a room at Moyness House. Richard and Jenny were fabulous hosts and you couldn't ask for anything more. It is a comfortable, cosy and delightful house and the breakfast was so delicious. Next time I'm in the Highlands I'll defiantely be back at Moyness House.

I stayed at Moyness with two friends this past October, and couldn't be more delighted with our choice of B&B. Moyness is a lovely Victorian house, with beautifully designed rooms and located about ten minutes walk from the center of Inverness. Richard and Jenny are terrific hosts, and left us each morning extremely well fed and with plenty of information about what to do/see/visit/eat in the Highlands area. I could not recommend this place more highly!
Also - for any future Loch Ness marathon runners, moyness is located approximately fifteen minutes walk from the stadium start and finish!

Moyness House

11 Oct 2007

To all travellers venturing North of Edinburgh, Inverness is a happening buzzing city and Moyness House the ideal sanctuary to unwind in luxury. We could not have been more charmed by this beautiful dwelling, well worth a 5-stars rating in all respect. The hosts are most delightful, extremely helpful and a real source of local knowledge. Attention to details in the decor and presentation is simply amazing. Our room was just out of this world, with all the mod coms combined with the Victorian feel. We'll be back in a flash.

Stayed here prior to the Loch Ness Marathon, so I had a particular requirement for breakfast at the ridiculously early time of 7am on a Sunday morning. I had emailed Richard and Jenny, the owners, in advance to discuss this, and they were happy to accomodate, which I really appreciated.
The property is very well kept, with clean and spacious rooms and good en-suite facilities (better than any other B&B I've stayed in). My personal taste isn't for flowery decor, but it's not something that detracts from my stay either.
Moyness House is also well-located, being just a short walk from the banks of the river Ness and the centre of town.
Highly recommended, and I'd be happy to stay there again.
