I visited the guest house during my Scotland roundtrip by train. The location of the guesthouse is not ideal for train travellers but if you don't carry too much luggage with you, you can walk the distance (or take a taxi). I booked the guest house because of the excellent reviews and I must say, I was in no way dissappointed. Yes, the single room is a bit on the small side but that is the only minor negative point. The owners sure love their job. No detail is overlooked. They are friendly but not obtrusive. No wonder they got five 5 stars from the AA!!

Moyness House was a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I are both from New Zealand and have been living in England for 2 years and decided we would have a weekend in the Highlands before returning home early next year. It was such a pleasant surprise to be greeted by a fellow Kiwi (Jenny) and we found both Jenny and Richard amazing hosts who both went the extra mile. Not only did we get a great bed and breakfast but also driving directions and recommended restaurants! The room itself was spotless and had more than we needed and the breakfast was delicious; great for starting a freezing day in Scotland!

We would recommend Moyness House to anyone wanting a nice but affordable place to stay.

My husband and I stayed at the Moyness House for several nights. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was very clean and nicely furnished. I recommend this B&B highly.

Three of us were up in Inverness on business, it was our first time at Moyness House. The rooms were excellent, as was the food. They even cooked us a special breakfast one morning.
We were so pleased with Moyness House that we booked for our next trip to Inverness in June next year and one of our colleges has booked for a trip he is making in December this year.
