Nothing to report about the rooms in the hotel. They are exactly the same as you would find in every Travel Inn. Nice bathroom, bed and sofabed. There was some noise from the railway line which is right across the road but it didn't disturb us even with the window open.
Next door is a bar/resaurant 'Slice' which is the usual Whitbread setup. Looks like it had been very recently refurbished, we ate there every night and were happy with it, just don't expect anything different than you would get anywhere else in the country. The staff were very friendly the only problem was that pizza was on the menu but they weren't serving pizza as apparently they hadn't received their oven yet!
Location is good, not city centre but that is only 15 minutes walk away, as is a big supermarket. It's about half a mile from the junction with the A9.
Overall if I was to stay in Inverness again I would definitely return to this hotel.
