Ardconnel House just has to be the place to stay in Inverness...!!
Only 5 minutes walk from the bus and train stations, and so close to the riverside, with many fine restaurants and bars.

The house itself is immaculate, very nice welcome from Elizabeth and John, who made us feel very comfortable.

We had a room with a king bed and private bath, which was very quiet. The breakfasts were very special too, we tried the smoked haddock with poached egg and grilled tomato - perfect..!!

If ever we are back in Inverness, this will be our first port of call.

Went for a couple of days in Inverness to go to a concert at Eden Court.
On arrival made very welcome, John and Liz very nice, friendly couple and full of information for the visitor.
Ardconnell House excellently placed, in centre of town, allowing me to walk to all areas that I wanted. Close to Theatre, Historical places and city centre where there is excellent shopping.
Rooms were spotless, to a very high standard, and with TV, radio and hospitality tray just what was neededed after a day out.
Super breakfast, kept me going all day, flakes or porridge and cooked breakfast done when ordered not sitting congealling, loved the Stornaway black pudding.
Some lovely eateries within walking distance and very reasonably priced.

We just returned from staying in Inverness at Ardconnel House and recommend it. Ardconnel House is located very centrally on a very nice quiet street, close to the train station, city centre and all amenities. John and Elizabeth were very nice, friendly and helpful as hosts, providing us with very good recommendations for places to see and tours to take. The breakfast was also very good and provided alot of choice. The room was very nice, clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, tea and coffee, TV and DVD. We would recommend a visit to Inverness and Ardconnel House.
